Botox®(Botulinum Toxin Type A) is the market leader world wide and is currently the only toxin to be licensed to treat the Glabellar Lines (GL) Forehead Lines (FHL) & Crow’s Feet Lines (CFL) separately or simultaneously. It has over 30 years of manufacturing experience and an extensively evaluated safety profile.
This is a medical procedure and a prescribed drug, in the hands of a registered medical practitioner it is very safe. It is a legal requirement that you see the medical practitioner prescribing the Botox ‘face to face’ . Not by Skype or a phone call, this is know as remote prescribing and as been banned by MHRA, and is reportable.
Botox®is a brand of Botulinum toxin type A. Just like a black handbag, you can buy Prada, Marks and Spencer or Primark versions. Essentially they’re all black handbags and they all do the same thing, the same way there are various Botulinum Toxin A brands all with varying pricing. As a Registered Nurse and independent prescriber, I personally and professionally choose Botox ® , but that’s only my choice. My reasons are; it’s the most studied in terms of safety as it’s been on the market the longest, several decades in fact. I like working with it, it’s durability, quality and I like the final look it achieves, leaving all my patients very satisfied.
That’s not to say that there’s anything wrong with other forms of Botulinum toxin A.
Botox is used to reduce the movement in targeted muscles in certain areas, therefor reducing the wrinkle formation that is caused by muscle activity, known as dynamic wrinkles, Botox Therapy can relax or soften the appearance of static wrinkles.
The procedure takes around 15 minutes, I will get you to pull some facial expression to get an understanding of your facial muscles. Though from the moment we meet I have already began my process of examine your facial expressions.
The results can take up to a week to show themselves, don’t lose heart it will work!
Once I have done your treatment we will book a second appointment to review your results, this is often incorrectly referred to as a ‘top up’. It’s important to remember we’re dealing with a prescription-only medicine and it is my decision as the practitioner, to recommend a further treatment and dose that I you feel is right for you.

Jaw Line & Jowls
Volux, the is the latest product to be added to the Juvederm Range. It has been specifically formulated for the chin and jawline, it has a high elasticity and high cohesively with the ability to lift, giving a better result with less product.
The jaw line is an aesthetic concern for many of my patients, especially as we age, most feeling that their jaw line has lost definition and feel this have a heavy and saggy jowl.
In most cases I probably treat the mid face first as we tend to lose volume here as we age.
- Volux 2mls £450
Fillers
There are now many brands of fillers flooding the UK market. I have worked and used most of the bigger brands and have just found The Juvederm range to be the most reliable, predictable and have left both myself and more importantly my patients happy with the results.
Contrary to belief its not a one size fits all, with in the range the products are aimed at different treatments and areas. It’s a treatment that focuses on the face, specifically the cheeks, Jaw line, lips and the perioral area.
Juvederm is a cosmetic treatment referred to as a filler. It’s used to restore facial contours and improve signs of ageing.
Juvederm fillers are hyaluronic acid injection (HA), this is a naturally occurring sugar found in the body. The HA in Juvederm combines with water in your skin to gently restore elasticity and tone. I use a topical numbing cream prior to the treatment, however there is lidocaine included within the filler which can reduce the discomfort.
It is best practice to have a full consultation face to face, so we can discuss a treatment plan which is best suited to your face. We may use a combination approach to enhance your features.

Skin Boosters
SKIN UNDERGOES CHANGES WITH THE PASSAGE OF TIME The main reasons for the ageing of the skin include excess of oxidants (free radicals) and progressive loss of intrinsic HA.
An unhealthy lifestyle associated with other factors, such as an unbalanced diet and cigarette smoking, sun damage affects the skin’s appearance and quality. With age, we can lose up to 2/3 of our hyaluronic acid pool. At 35 years of age the skin’s thickness has decreased on average by about 22%. As it gets thinner, the skin becomes more fragile, dehydrates and its elasticity diminishes, the early skins of wrinkles are starting to show.
Everybody is speaking about hyaluronic acid! But how exactly does it work and which product is best for you? The hyaluronic acid injections are designed to prevent premature ageing of our skin and to boost the radiance of our face, along with a healthy lifestyle. This is were my 14 years experience with all the products available comes in, we will discuss lifestyle, your current skin regime and make a realistic and sustainable treatment plan.
You will know by now my passion for radiant skin!
“Just like an apple that dries, skin that
is deprived of its sources of hydration will
lose its shine with the passage of time.”

I use all of the Juvederm Range and have for most of my career. I do occasionally use other brands, when requested, however I have found Juvderm to offer the variety I need.
