Botox® (Botulinum Toxin Type A) is the market leader world wide and is currently the only toxin to be licensed to treat the Glabellar Lines (GL) Forehead Lines (FHL) & Crow’s Feet Lines (CFL) separately or simultaneously. This is a medical procedure and a prescribed drug, in the hands of a registered medical practitioner it is very safe. It is a legal requirement that you see the medical practitioner prescribing the Botox ‘face to face’. As a Registered Nurse and independent prescriber, I personally and professionally choose Botox ®. The procedure takes around 15 minutes, I will ask you to pull some facial expressions to understand your facial muscles. From the moment we meet I have already begun my process of examining your facial expressions.

What are the benefits? it works in much the same way as the trusted Botox brand, in that it stops the nerves signalling the muscle to initiate movement, therefor relaxing it (not stimulating) resulting in smoother skin.
The main advantages over Botox is; quicker onset of results, and most importantly it last longer, studies showing it could last up to 5 months. There is no need to come back for a review, as it’s particularly good for those stubborn muscles.
It is also free from human and animal derived proteins, I have looked to find studies to see if it can be classed as vegan… I will keep you posted.
